A Poem A Day – Shape Poem

One story a day. One poem a day. I am truly loving this part of my journey and have, on average, written 3,000 decent words a day in one form or another.

Sharing, here, a line (maybe two or three) and the writing prompt in the hopes that it will ignite some inspiration and get your own pen moving.

Format: Shape Poem
Writing Prompt: It Doesn’t Matter…(finish the sentence) (Shape of a Gingerbreadman)

It doesn’t matter if you ever love me or see me beyond my bag of skin.
It doesn’t matter if I tip the scales or scale back into something almost invisible…
