This is my goal. Still plugging away and gathering some golden nuggets. Here is a few lines…just to share…and hopefully to inspire.
Format: Short Story.
Prompt: Write about what you know – what you REALLY know.
In his short life he has awaken with his chest stitched together, his eye sewn and patched or his feet re-built with casts above his hip bones. Again, my chest tightens, filled with a sense of guilt, unable to help him through his greatest need.
